How can I increase my conversion rate at checkout?

A quick and easy checkout is an important requirement for a good conversion. It is all the more painful when customers cancel their purchase early because they lack the last bit of trust in your offer.

The Trusted Shops Trustmark and the associated Buyer Protection create this trust and ensure a secure feeling.

Further information on the Buyer Protection can be found here: What is the Buyer Protection?

To make the most of this effect during checkout, you can add the "Trusted Checkout" widget to your website. It strengthens customer trust at the most sensitive moment of the shopping experience and thus increases your conversion rate.

You have now successfully created your widget code. You must now integrate the widget code into your website.

Step 2: Integrating the widget code into your website

To display the widget on your website, HTML and JavaScript code must be integrated into the header and body of your website's HTML. You can find the code snippets you need for this in the overview "How to integrate the widget into your website", which will open after your widget code has been generated.

Don't have the tech knowledge to insert your widget code into your webpage's HTML? Then click "Copy all instructions". Then, simply open up a text document of your choice and paste the widget code into the text document. Then, send the text document to your website administrators.

  2. In your webpage HTML, open the header section. Insert the code snippet into the header section.
The JavaScript code for the head is only needed once, even if you implement more than one widget on your website.
  1. Return to the overview "How to integrate the widget into your website". Click the document icon in the lower code box to copy the code snippet to your clipboard.

  2. Within your website's HTML, open the body section of the desired checkout page. Paste the copied code snippet into the body section where you want to put the widget.
The widget is responsive. You can therefore place it in any desired position. The widget then fits into the available space in the best possible way.
