If you do not have a company profile, you cannot set up a free account. Instead, you can sign up for a paid membership and use the full scope of services of Trusted Shops.

Problems with your email address can have different causes.
Did you use an incorrect email address?
First, check that you have entered your email address correctly. For example, umlauts or spaces may not be used.
Please use a different email address if the problem reoccurs.
Have you already signed up for a paid membership with your email address?
Do you run multiple websites? Then there may be several company profiles that you can claim.
However, it is currently not possible to claim a company profile that has not yet been claimed with an email address that is already linked to a paid membership.
In this case, claim the profile with a different email address.
Have you forgotten your password for the eTrusted Control Centre?
If you have created an account and forgotten your password, you can change it.
- Open the login page of the eTrusted Control Centre. Click on „Forgot your password?“ below the input screen.
- A new overview will open. Enter your email address registered with Trusted Shops in the „Username“ () input field. Then click on „Reset password“ ().
- Open your mailbox. Open the Trusted Shops email and click on „Link to reset password“.
- A new browser window opens. Enter the desired new password in the „New password“ () and „Confirm new password“ () input fields. Then click on „Save new password“ ().
You have now successfully changed the password for the already registered email address. You can now log in via the login page of the eTrusted Control Centre.
Your email provider may have mistakenly identified the confirmation email as spam. Please check your spam folder first.
You can't find the confirmation email in your spam folder? Then check if your organisation allows you to receive emails from outside your organisation. If necessary, change your settings together with your IT department.
If you have still not received a confirmation email, first open this website: Contact Then fill out the form to contact our team.
The link in the confirmation email is valid for 14 days. After this period the account you created will be deleted. Therefore, you must create a new account and claim your company profile again.
