Upgrading to eTrusted – FAQ

 

What's new with eTrusted?

The new Trusted Shops review management platform has the name eTrusted. It makes the management of reviews easier with a new more intuitive user interface. We also continuously work on new features, rolling them out over time. 

How can I use eTrusted?

You can start using eTrusted as soon as you have been upgraded to the new platform. Log in to My Trusted Shops with your known credentials like usual. Under "Reviews" you find the new platform. So you don't get separate credentials for your eTrusted account but rather use the existing ones known from My Trusted Shops. With these credentials, you can log into app.etrusted.com.

How do I know that I am activated for the new review system?

We inform all members in good time before eTrusted activation takes place. The free upgrade then takes place automatically so you don’t need to do anything. When the activation date is coming up, we will inform you again by e-mail. You will also be notified after the activation, of course, and will receive all the information you need by e-mail.

When will my shop be activated for eTrusted?

We intend for all customers to be able to use eTrusted. However, we will do this on a step-by-step basis so that we can manage the activation of the platform in an optimum manner. Important prerequisites for activation are the use of our Trustbadge technology and the collection of reviews via the Trustbadge, as well as the submission of the parameters we require. The functionalities which you currently use for all the shops in your membership are additional factors.

We aim to provide you with the best possible user experience at all times. This means that the release will only take place when we are able to provide you with the scope of services you currently use on eTrusted too.

Will my activation for eTrusted take place automatically or on request?

The upgrade depends to a significant extent, but not exclusively, on the existing integration of the Trustbadge into the checkout process and the submission of the parameters we require. Once your account meets the requirements, we will switch it over automatically, after notifying you of this in good time.

If you wish to have an early activation for eTrusted, we would be happy to review your case on an individual basis.

Do I need to change anything from a technical perspective to get activated for eTrusted?

No, for all members who collect reviews via the Trustbadge (this means when you have integrated the Trustbadge into the checkout process and provide us with the parameters we require), no changes need to be made to get activated for eTrusted.

All members who collect reviews via API can continue to use the current API. However, in order to be able to use the full functionality of the new platform, e.g. additional touchpoints, changes will be required.

However, in principle, this depends on the functionalities you use. We will endeavour to keep the amount of work required to a minimum for all members.

I use the API for the Review Collector. Will there be changes to the interface here?

All members who collect reviews via API can continue to use the current API. However, in order to be able to use the full functionality of the new platform, e.g. additional touchpoints, changes will be required.

We send our customers an e-mail with a review link via an external system. Will changes be necessary there?

There will still be the option of sending a review link via an external system. We expect there to be some changes here and we will, of course, inform you about these in good time.

Will reviews that already exist be transferred to the new system?

Yes, existing reviews will, of course, be transferred to eTrusted.

Which events are preset after activation?

Currently, only the “checkout” touchpoint is available. With eTrusted activation, all settings will be transferred and will be configured exactly as they were before the activation.

Will the current standard e-mail templates also be available in eTrusted?

No, the current templates will not be available in eTrusted. We are making new, conversion-optimised templates available, which we continue to optimise on an ongoing basis.

If you use individual e-mail templates, we aim to provide you with the best possible service here too. Therefore, you will only be activated for eTrusted when we have found a satisfactory solution to this.

Does eTrusted still provide the option of sending Review Invites via the Review Collector?

Yes, you can still upload lists with orders and send these via the Review Collector.

Will the new platform lead to any additional charges for me?

The upgrade to the new platform is, of course, free of charge. At the beginning, we will make available various free questionnaires which have been pre-defined by us. We cannot yet comment on individual questionnaires or new features.
