How do I use the Product Review Questionnaire Template?

The Product Review Questionnaire Template allows you to collect authentic reviews for the products you offer in your online shop. This way, you give your customers valuable guidance even before they make a purchase, which has a positive effect on the performance of your shop.

What does the Product Reviews Questionnaire Template look like?

This animation shows each of the components of the questionnaire your customers will receive. When rating your products, your customers always provide a star rating and are asked to use the commentary function

How do I set up invites with the Product Review Questionnaire Template?

There are two main ways of setting up the Product Review Questionnaire Template. You can either apply your Trustbadge integration or use an API (Application Programming Interface). The setup of your invites via the Trustbadge can be completed quickly, while the API allows you to send out review invites independent from Trusted Shops.

How can I collect Product Reviews via the Trustbadge?

The first requirement to collect Product Reviews is the successful unlocking of the product via your Upgrade Center. After that, you collect product reviews automatically via your existing Trustbadge integration. Only a few lines of code need to be added.

Depending on whether you used a shop software plugin for your integration or if you integrated the Trustbadge manually, the integration of Product Reviews works differently. In these instructions you will find the information you need:

How can I collect Product Reviews via APIs?

APIs are programming interfaces that enable communication via a code between two software programmes and allow the automated retrieval of data. An example of this would be the integration of Google Maps on your website.

Using the questionnaire link API to generate invites

Once your API setup is completed, you can proceed by using the Questionnaire Link API. This API generates a link you can use in your own mailing in order to send out links for questionnaires to your customers. For this, you are not reliant on the mailing from Trusted Shops.

How can I stay updated on my received reviews?

You can find an overview of your received reviews in your “Inbox” in the Control Centre by clicking on "Filter" (01_32x32.png) and selecting "Product reviews" (02_32x32.png) in the section "Review type".

Are reviews saved even if they were not filled in completely?

Yes, once customers have chosen a star rating and have clicked the button "Submit & continue", the review is submitted, counted and published. Additional review texts are both submitted and published after the final "Submit" button has been pressed. This is in accordance with GDPR guidelines.
