How can I be notified about incoming reviews?

By responding quickly to collected feedback, you can present yourself as a customer-centred company to your existing and potential customers. Therefore, reviews are an important communication channel for staying engaged and communicating with your customers. To use this communication channel efficiently, you can be notified about incoming reviews.

The eTrusted platform offers notifications within both the platform and via e-mail.

How do I set up my notifications?

  1. Log in to the eTrusted Control Centre.
  2. Click on the avatar (01_16x16.png) in the upper right corner. In the drop-down menu that now opens, click on "User settings" (02_16x16.png). The "User settings" overview appears.

  3. Scroll to the "Notifications" area.
Please note that the settings you are now making apply to all channels you have access to.
  1. Decide which reviews you want to be notified about. You can receive notifications for:
    • Reviews with one or two stars (01_16x16.png)
    • Reviews with three stars (02_16x16.png)
    • Reviews with four or five stars (03_16x16.png)
You can select one or multiple options.
  1. Decide how you want to be notified. You can receive notifications...
    • ... via e-mail. (04_16x16.png)
    • ... in the eTrusted Control Centre. (05_16x16.png)
You can select one or both options.

  1. Click on "Save".

You have now successfully set up your notifications.

How do I handle notifications?

Notifications via e-mail

You will only receive notification emails for those star ratings that match your settings. This means that: If you have activated all three options, you will receive a notification e-mail for every incoming review.

The notification e-mail contains some information about the review:

  • the channel that was reviewed (01_16x16.png)
  • the star rating (02_16x16.png)
  • the review date and, if available, the name of the person submitting the review (03_16x16.png)
  • the review title and the review comment (04_16x16.png)
  • the reference number of the transaction associated with the review as well as the transaction date (05_16x16.png)

Do you want to answer or report the review? Then click on "Open inbox" (06_16x16.png). The review then opens within the inbox.

If there is no active session in the eTrusted Control Centre, you must log in beforehand.

Notifications in the eTrusted Control Centre

You will only receive notifications in the eTrusted Control Centre for those star ratings that match your settings. This means that: If you have activated all three options, you will receive a notification for every incoming review.

As soon as a review corresponding to your settings is received, a red dot appears next to the bell in the upper right corner. Clicking on the bell opens the notification.
