How do I personalise the sender details for my review invites?

As the default setting, your review invites are sent on behalf of your website. In this case, the name of your website is used both as the sender name and as part of the sender email address. The sender email address is created according to the pattern "name-your-website@trustedshops.com".

Of course, you can personalise the sender’s email address and name even further. How this benefits you:

  • More flexibility and control: Choose a sender address that best suits your communication style – for example, a separate email address just for reviews and one that is different to transactional or support addresses.
  • Direct relationship with the customer: If the review invite comes from a personalised email address, it feels more personal. Your customers perceive the invite as a direct dialogue with your brand.
  • Stronger brand presence: By sending from a brand-aligned email address, you ensure consistent communication – from order to review invite.

How do I personalise my sender data?

  1. Log in to the eTrusted Control Centre.
  2. Click on the gear symbol ("Settings") (01_16x16.png) in the main navigation. Then click on "Channel Settings" (02_16x16.png).
  3. Select the channel (03_16x16.png) for which you want to personalise your sender details.
  4. Open the "Personalisation" (04_16x16.png) tab.

  5. The "Personalisation" overview appears. Scroll to the "Sender settings" area. Mark the "Send review invites with personalised sender settings" selection (01_16x16.png).
  6. Enter the desired sender name (02_16x16.png). Then enter the desired sender email address (03_16x16.png).
  7. Do you want to use the entered sender data for all your channels? Then tick "Apply to all channels" (04_16x16.png).
You can also create individual settings for all channels. To do this, select the desired channel in the channel selection and enter the desired sender data for this channel as described above.
  1. Click on "Save" (05_16x16.png).

You have now successfully personalised your sender data.
