You can change your password for the eTrusted Control Centre directly via the login page.
To change your password, you need your username. This is usually the email address you registered with us. If you don't know which email address is registered with us, read on here: I have forgotten my email address.
- Open the login page of the eTrusted Control Centre.
- Click on "Forgot your password?".
- Enter your registered email address in the "Username" field (
). Then click on "Reset password" (
).
- An automatic email is now sent to the registered email address. Open the email.
Haven’t received any email? If so, please check the spam folder of your inbox. If you can't find an email there either, you may have used an incorrect login page or an unregistered email address. For more information, please refer to this article: I can no longer log in to Trusted Shops. What now?
- Click on "Link to reset password".
Please note that the link provided in the email is only valid for 180 minutes. If you do not change your password within this period of time, the link will become invalid and you will have to request a new email as described above.
- A new page appears. Enter the new password in both fields (

) and click "Save new password" (
).
Please consider the following requirements for the password selection:
- The password must be at least 8 characters long.
- It must contain at least one uppercase letter.
- It must contain at least one lowercase letter.
- It must contain at least one number.
- It must contain at least one special character.
- The new password must not be the same as the previous one.
You'll now be logged in to the eTrusted Control Centre. You successfully changed your password.
