Do you operate your own mobile app and want to display the Trustbadge®, offer Buyer Protection and collect reviews there too? With the Trusted Shops Android SDK and the Trusted Shops iOS SDK, you can integrate selected Trusted Shops solutions directly into your app.
A software development kit (SDK) provides your development team with the technical components and instructions needed for the integration.
What can I do with the app integration?
With the appropriate SDK, you can integrate the Trustbadge and Trustcard into your app. This allows you to provide the following Trusted Shops services not only in your online shop, but also in your app:
Display the Trustbadge
Integrate the Trustbadge into your app to show your customers the familiar Trusted Shops trust signals while they shop. You can largely determine its appearance yourself and adapt it to the design of your app.
The customisation options correspond to those of the inline Trustbadge variants.
Offer Buyer Protection
Display the Trustcard after an order has been placed in your app. Your customers can use the Trustcard to register for Buyer Protection. This allows them to use Buyer Protection not only for orders placed in your online shop, but also for orders placed through your app.
Obtain consent for Review Invites
With the Trustcard, you collect consent to send review invites. This allows you to invite customers who have ordered through your app to leave a service or product review.
How do I integrate Trusted Shops into my app?
Follow these steps to integrate Trusted Shops into your app:
- Check the prerequisites
- Choose a channel
- Request use of the SDK
- Integrate Trusted Shops into your app
Step 1: Check the prerequisites
To integrate Trusted Shops into your app, you must meet the following prerequisites:
- Your app is a native Android or iOS app. Cross-platform solutions such as Flutter are currently not supported.
- Check the technical requirements and compatibility in the SDK repository.
- The integration requires coding experience. You should therefore have your own app development team or work with a technical service provider.
Step 2: Choose a channel
Before requesting use of the SDK from Trusted Shops, you must decide whether you want to use a channel that is already registered with Trusted Shops or create a new channel for your app.

Trusted Shops does not make a general recommendation for this decision. Choose the option that best suits your goals and circumstances.
Step 3: Request use of the SDK
- Send an email to members@trustedshops.com.
- Include the following information in your email:
- The company name registered with Trusted Shops
- The required platform: Android or iOS, or both
- Whether you want to use an existing channel or create a new one
- If you want to use an existing channel: the corresponding Channel ID. You can find out where to locate it here: How to retrieve your Channel ID
- Trusted Shops will then carry out the required risk assessment, prepare the contract addendum and send it to you.
- Sign the contract addendum.
Once the risk assessment has been completed and the contract addendum has been signed, you can use the appropriate SDK.
Step 4: Integrate Trusted Shops into your app
The technical integration is carried out by your app development team or technical service provider. All technical prerequisites and integration steps are described in the following GitHub documentation:
