Using Trusted Shops with plentymarkets (without ShopBuilder)

Installation

To install the plugin, the following steps are necessary:

• Add & install plugin
• Link plugin components to matching containers

Step 1: Add & install the plugin

1. Open plentymarkets' marketplace.
2. Click on the magnifying glass icon in the upper right corner to use the search function. Search for "Trusted Shops".
   
3. Select "Trusted Shops Reviews Toolkit" from the search results.
   
4. An overview of the plugin opens up. Click on "Go to checkout".
   
5. A pop-up window will appear. Click on "Order now".
   

6. Log in to your plentymarkets Backend.
7. Click on "Plugins" () in the main navigation. Then click on "Plugin overview".
8. The plugin overview appears. Use the search function to look up "Trusted Shops" (), so that you can tick "Not installed" ().
   
9. The "Trusted Shops Reviews Toolkit" is shown. Click on the button with the downward pointing arrow to start the installation.
   
10. When the installation is complete, click on the button with the globe icon next to "Trusted Shops Reviews Toolkit" to activate the plugin.
    
11. Click on the button with the disk icon above the plugin list.

You have now successfully installed the plugin. Now continue to link the plugin components to the appropriate containers.

Step 2: Link plugin components to matching containers

In order to display the desired plugin components on your website, you must link them to suitable containers. You only need to link plugin components to containers you want to use. Select the desired plugin components from the following list:

• Trustbadge®
• Trustcard
• Product Reviews on the Product Detail Page
• Product Review Stars on the Product Detail Page
• Shop Review Sticker

Container link for activating the Trustbadge®

1. Click on "CMS" in the main navigation. Then click on "Container links".
   
2. A new overview appears. Search for "Trustbadge (TrustedShops)" within the list. Click on the corresponding arrow.
   
3. Tick "Script loader: After scripts loaded".
   
4. Click on the button with the floppy disk symbol in the upper left corner.
   

You have now successfully linked the Trustbadge to a container.

Container link for activating the Trustcard in the checkout

1. Click on "CMS" in the main navigation. Then click on "Container links".
   
2. A new overview appears. Search for "Checkout Trustcard (TrustedShops)" within the list. Click on the corresponding arrow.
3. Tick "Order confirmation: Add content before ‚Back to Homepage’ link".
   
4. Click on the button with the floppy disk symbol in the upper left corner.
   

You have now successfully linked the Trustcard to a container.

Container link for activating Product Reviews on the Product Detail Page

1. Click on "CMS" in the main navigation. Then click on "Container links".
   
2. A new overview appears. Search for "Product Reviews on the product detail page (TrustedShops)" within the list. Click on the corresponding arrow.
3. Tick "Single item: Container for item lists".
   
4. Click on the button with the floppy disk symbol in the upper left corner.
   

You have now successfully linked the Product Reviews to a container.

Container link for activating the Product Review Stars on the Product Detail Page

1. Click on "CMS" in the main navigation. Then click on "Container links".
   
2. A new overview appears. Search for "Product Review stars on the product detail page (TrustedShops)" within the list. Click on the corresponding arrow.
3. Tick "Single item: After price".
   
4. Click on the button with the floppy disk symbol in the upper left corner.
   

You have now successfully linked the Product Review Stars to a container.

Container link for activating the Shop Review Sticker

1. Click on "CMS" in the main navigation. Then click on "Container links".
   
2. A new overview appears. Search for "Review Sticker (Shop Reviews) (TrustedShops)" within the list. Click on the corresponding arrow.
3. Tick "Footer: Row 3 container".
   
4. Click on the button with the floppy disk symbol in the upper left corner.
   

You have now successfully linked the Shop Review Sticker to a container.

Configuration

Next, we will show you how you can display the Trustbadge® technology and configure it to match your individual requirements:

• Display the Trustbadge, integrate the Buyer Protection & collect Service Reviews
• Collect and view Product Reviews
• Display the Shop Review Sticker with the Review Comments
• Configure multi-shops (e.g. several language shops) with different Trusted Shops IDs

Display the Trustbadge, integrate the Buyer Protection & collect Service Reviews

With the unique Trustbadge® technology, you collect, manage and display customer reviews in your shop. This way, you can easily integrate your Trustmark and offer Buyer Protection.

1. Log in to your plentymarkets Backend.
2. Click on "Setup" () in the main navigation.
3. Another navigation bar shows up. In it, first click on "Client" () and then on "Settings" (). Then click on "Trusted Shops".
   
4. An input screen is displayed. Enter your Trusted Shops ID in the left field ().

5. Use the drop-down menus to select the shop belonging to the ID () and its language (). Then click on "Save".
   
6. The Trusted Shops ID is now displayed in a list. Click on the corresponding button "Edit".
   
7. A new overview appears. Scroll to section "Configure the Trustbadge for your shop".
8. Under "Variant" () you can select whether the Trustbadge should be displayed with or without star ratings.
   

By default, the Trustbadge is displayed in the lower right corner of the shop. By entering a pixel number in the field "Y-Offset" (), the Trustbadge on the right-hand edge of the screen can be moved upwards.

9. Click on "Save".

Before you continue, you should test if the Trustbadge function works. To do this, place a test order in your shop. If the Trustcard appears at the end of your order, you have successfully integrated the Trustbadge into your shop, Buyer Protection is now active and Service Reviews will be collected.

Collect and view Product Reviews

1. Log in to your plentymarkets Backend.
2. Open the plugin via the click path "Setup"() -> "Client" () -> "Settings" () -> "Trusted Shops".
   
3. Click on "Edit" next to the Trusted Shops ID you want to configure.
   
4. Scroll to section "Configure Product Reviews for your shop". Tick "Collect Product Reviews".
   
5. A pop-up window opens up. Click on "Close".
6. Click on "Save".

This means that Product Reviews are now collected automatically. Now, you have two options to view your collected Product Reviews on your website:

• Show Product Reviews on the Product Detail page on an additional tab
• Show Product Star Ratings on the Product Detail Page

Show Product Reviews on the Product Detail page on an additional tab

You have the option to view your collected Product Reviews for a specific product in an additional tab on the respective Product Detail Page.

1. Tick "Show Product Reviews on the Product Detail page on an additional tab".
2. An input screen appears with which you can configure the display. In the field "Name of Product Reviews tab" (), you need to enter a name for the additional tab (e.g. “What our customers are saying”).
3. Determine the "border colour" (), the "star colour" () and the "background colour" (). To do this, either enter the hexadecimal code in the fields or select the desired colour using the colour selection field.
   
4. Click on "Save".

You have successfully added an additional tab to the Product Detail Page that displays your Product Reviews.

Show Product Star Ratings on the Product Detail Page

You have the option to display the star ratings for a specific product on the respective Product Detail Page.

1. Tick "Show Star ratings on the Product Name".
2. An input screen appears with which you can configure the display. Determine the "star colour" (). To do this, either enter the hexadecimal code in the field or select the desired colour using the colour selection field.
3. Determine the "star size" () and the "font size" (). Enter the desired number of pixels in the fields.
4. Should the star ratings be hidden if no reviews have yet been collected for the respective product? Tick "Hide empty Star Ratings" () for this.

5. Click on "Save". 

This displays collected Product Review Stars on the Product Detail Page.

Display the Shop Review Sticker with the Review Comments

You have the option to display collected Service Reviews in the Shop Review Sticker on your website.

1. Log in to your plentymarkets Backend.
2. Open the plugin via the click path "Setup" () -> "Client" () -> "Settings" () -> "Trusted Shops".
   
3. Click on "Edit" next to the Trusted Shops ID you want to configure.
   
4. Scroll to section "Configure Additional Options". Tick "Show Shop Reviews within your shop".
5. An input screen appears with which you can configure the display. Determine the "font" () used in the Shop Review Sticker. Use the drop-down menu "Number of reviews" () to determine how many Review Comments should be displayed alternately.

6. Use the "Minimum rating" () drop-down menu to determine the minimum rating from which reviews can be displayed - from “1 star” for “poor” to “5 stars” for “excellent”.
7. Determine the "background colour" (). To do this, either enter the hexadecimal code in the field or select the desired colour using the colour selection field.
   
8. Click on "Save".

You have now successfully integrated the Shop Review Sticker into your website.

Configure multi-shops (e.g. several language shops) with different Trusted Shops IDs

You have a multi-shop and, for example, sell your products in different languages? In that case, you're also using multiple Trusted Shops IDs. This allows you to configure your different shops individually.

The prerequisite for this is that you have set up a multishop in your plentymarkets backend. You can find out more about how to set up a multi-shop in plentymarkets here: Setting up clients

1. Log in to your plentymarkets Backend.
2. Click on "Setup" () in the main navigation.
3. Another navigation bar shows up. In it, first click on "Client" () and then on "Settings" (). Then click on "Trusted Shops".
   
4. An input screen is displayed. Enter another Trusted Shops ID in the left field ().
5. Use the drop-down menus to select the shop belonging to the ID () and its language (). Then click on "Save".
   
6. In addition to the main shop (), the list now also contains the newly added shop (). Click on "Edit" and configure the newly added shop - independently from your main shop - as described above.
   

You have now successfully configured your multi-shop.
