Using Trusted Shops with plentymarkets (with ShopBuilder)

Installation

1. Open plentymarkets' marketplace.
2. Click on the magnifying glass icon in the upper right corner to use the search function. Search for "Trusted Shops".
   
3. Select "Trusted Shops Reviews Toolkit" from the search results.
   
4. An overview of the plugin opens up. Click on "Go to checkout".
   
5. A pop-up window will appear. Click on "Order now".
   

6. Log in to your plentymarkets Backend.
7. Click on "Plugins" () in the main navigation. Then click on "Plugin overview".
8. The plugin overview appears. Use the search function to look up "Trusted Shops" (), so that you can tick "Not installed" ().
   
9. The "Trusted Shops Reviews Toolkit" is shown. Click on the button with the downward pointing arrow to start the installation.
   
10. When the installation is complete, click on the button with the globe icon next to "Trusted Shops Reviews Toolkit" to activate the plugin.
    
11. Click on the button with the disk icon above the plugin list.

You have now successfully installed the plugin.

Configuration

Next, we will show you how you can display the Trustbadge® technology and configure it to match your individual requirements:

• Display the Trustbadge, integrate the Buyer Protection & collect Service Reviews
• Collect and view Product Reviews
• View service reviews on your website
• Configure multi-shops (e.g. several language shops) with different Trusted Shops IDs

Each Trusted Shops element requires you to do the following: First, use the Trusted Shops plugin to choose the way you want the elements to look, so that they suit your shop's design. Then use ShopBuilder to define where you want the elements to be displayed on your website.

Display the Trustbadge, integrate Buyer Protection & collect Shop Reviews

With the unique Trustbadge® technology, you collect, manage and display customer reviews in your shop. This way, you can easily integrate your Trustmark and offer Buyer Protection.

To integrate your Trustbadge, there are three necessary steps:

1. Configure the Trustbadge within the plugin
2. Placing the Trustbadge on your website
3. Place the Trustcard on your order confirmation page

Step 1: Configure the Trustbadge within the plugin

1. Log in to your plentymarkets Backend.
2. Click on "Setup" () in the main navigation.
3. Another navigation bar shows up. In it, first click on "Client" () and then on "Settings" (). Then click on "Trusted Shops".
   
4. An input screen is displayed. Enter your Trusted Shops ID in the left field ().

5. Use the drop-down menus to select the shop belonging to the ID () and its language (). Then click on "Save".
   
6. The Trusted Shops ID is now displayed in a list. Click on the corresponding button "Edit".
   
7. A new overview appears. Scroll to section "Configure the Trustbadge for your shop".
8. Under "Variant" you can select whether the Trustbadge should be displayed with or without star ratings.
   
9. Click on "Save".

The Trustbadge is now successfully configured. Continue with step 2.

Step 2: Placing the Trustbadge on your website

1. Click on "Shop" in the main navigation. Then click on "ShopBuilder".
   
2. The ShopBuilder appears. Click on "Homepage" () in the ShopBuilder navigation.

Do you manage several different shops in your plentymarkets Backend? Then check if the correct client () has been selected.

To display the Trustbadge on your website, you should place it on an element that is visible on all pages of your website, e.g. the footer. You haven't yet created a footer? In that case, follow the steps below. If you have already created a footer, continue directly with the integration of the Trustbadge.

3. Click on "Footer contents". A new overview appears. Click on "Add content".
   
4. A new overview appears. Enter a name (e.g. “Footer”) () and select a preset (). Then click on "Create".
   
5. Select the footer element. A new overview appears. Open the drop-down menu "Trusted Shops" () within the navigation. Drag the widget "Trusted Shops Badge" () to the desired position of the footer element.
   
6. Click on the floppy disk icon to save your progress.
7. Activate the switch of the new footer element.
   
8. A new overview appears. Select "All contents" (). Then click on "Activate" ().
   

You have successfully placed the Trustbadge on your website. Continue with step 3.

Step 3: Place the Trustcard on your order confirmation page

To offer your customers the Buyer Protection, you must place the Trustcard on the order confirmation page. You didn't yet create an order confirmation page with the help of ShopBuilder? In that case, follow the steps below. If you already created an order confirmation page, proceed with the placement of the Trustcard right away.

1. Click on "Shop" in the main navigation. Then click on "ShopBuilder".
   
2. The ShopBuilder appears. Click on "New main category" in ShopBuilder's main navigation.
   
3. Use the drop-down menu "Type" () to select option "Content". Next, you have to select the desired client ().
4. Enter a name (e.g. “Order confirmation”) () and a URL name (e.g. “Order confirmation”) () for the new main category. Then click on the floppy disk icon to save these details.
   

You have now successfully created an order confirmation page. Now continue with the placement of the Trustcard.

5. Open your order confirmation page () with the ShopBuilder navigation.
6. Click on "Add content" () within the area "Contents for Order Confirmation".
   
7. Click on "Content".
   
8. A new overview appears. Enter a name (e.g. “Order confirmation”) () and select a preset (). Then click on "Create".
   
9. Select the content element. Open the drop-down menu "Trusted Shops" () within the navigation. Drag the widget "Trusted Shops Käuferschutz" () to the desired position of the content element.
   
10. Click on the floppy disk icon to save your progress.
11. Activate the switch of the new content item.
    

You have now successfully placed the Trustcard on your order confirmation page.

Before you continue, you should test if the Trustbadge function works. To do this, place a test order in your shop. If the Trustcard appears at the end of your order, you have successfully integrated the Trustbadge into your shop, Buyer Protection is now active and Service Reviews will be collected.

Collect and view Product Reviews

1. Log in to your plentymarkets Backend.
2. Open the plugin via the click path "Setup"() -> "Client" () -> "Settings" () -> "Trusted Shops".
   
3. Click on "Edit" next to the Trusted Shops ID you want to configure.
   
4. Scroll to section "Configure Product Reviews for your shop". Tick "Collect Product Reviews".
   
5. A pop-up window opens up. Click on "Close".
   
6. Click on "Save".

Due to this, Product Reviews are now collected automatically.

You have the option to display your customer's reviews for a specific product on the respective Product Detail Page.

However, the display options available in the plugin are outdated and will no longer be further developed. Do not use them. Instead, integrate the widget "Full Review List" into your website. To do so, follow these steps:

1. Log in to the eTrusted Control Centre.
2. Click on the star ("Reviews") () in the main navigation menu. Then click on "Marketing" ().
3. Open the "Widgets" tab ().
   
4. Click on "Create" within the widget "Full Review List". The configuration mode for the widget will then open.
   
5. Configure the widget according to your wishes. Then click on "Create widget code". The overview "How to integrate the widget into your website" appears.
   
6. Copy and paste the following code into a text document:

7. Scroll to the "Embed Widget" area in the eTrusted Control Centre. Copy the yellow marked value of the parameter "data-etrusted-widget-id" to the clipboard.
   
8. Open the text document with the link. Delete the existing value "WIDGET-ID-HERE". Paste the value you copied before here. 
9. Add the customised code to the clipboard by copying it.
10. Return to the Plentymarkets backend.
11. Now go to the main navigation and click on "Shop". Then select "ShopBuilder".
    

To see the Product Reviews on their Product Detail Pages, you need to place them in the desired item view. Have you not yet created an item view using ShopBuilder? In that case, follow the steps below. If you have already created an item view, proceed directly with the integration of the Product Reviews.

12. The ShopBuilder appears. Select the desired product category in the ShopBuilder navigation (). Click on "Add content" ().
    
13. Afterwards, click on "Item view" ().
    
14. A new overview appears. Enter a name (e.g. “Item view”) () and select a template (). Now click on "Create".
    

You have now successfully created a new article view. Now proceed with the integration of the Product Reviews into the article view.

15. Select the article view icon. A new overview appears.
16. Open the drop-down menu "Text" () within the navigation. Drag the widget "Code" () to the desired location in the article view, for example below the article image.
    
17. Click "</>" within the widget in the article view.
    
18. An input field is displayed. Paste the code copied to the clipboard into the input field (). Then click on the tick () to close the input field.
    
19. Would you also like to add a preview of your star ratings to your product detail page to give your customers a quick overview of the product reviews? In that case, return to the eTrusted Control Centre.
20. Click the document icon at the top of the code field "Widget extensions" to safe the code to your clipboard.
    
21. Return to the Plentymarkets backend. Open the drop-down menu "Text" () within the navigation. Drag another "Code" widget () to the desired position in the article view, for example below the article name.
    
22. Click "</>" within the widget in the article view.
    
23. An input field is displayed. Paste the code copied to the clipboard into the input field (). Then click on the tick () to save your changes.
    
24. Click on the floppy disk icon to save your progress.
25. Activate the switch for the article view element.
    

This displays collected Product Reviews on the Product Detail Page.

Have you created several article view elements in ShopBuilder, for example, to be able to work with different article views for different product categories? Then please integrate the widget "Full Review List" into all your article view elements.

View service reviews on your website

You have the option to display collected Service Reviews on your website.

The Shop Review Sticker available within the plugin is outdated and will no longer be further developed. Do not use it. Instead, integrate the widget "Review Carousel" into your website. To do so, follow these steps:

1. Log in to the eTrusted Control Centre.
2. Click on the star ("Reviews") () in the main navigation menu. Then click on "Marketing" ().
3. Open "Widgets" ().
   
4. Click on the button "Create", it belongs to the widget "Review Carousel". The configuration mode for the widget appears.
   
5. Configure the widget according to your wishes. Thereafter, click on "Create widget code". The overview "How to integrate the widget into your website" appears.
   
6. Copy and paste the following link into a text document:

7. In the eTrusted Control Centre, scroll to "Embed widget". Copy the yellow marked value of the parameter "data-etrusted-widget-id" to the clipboard.
   
8. Open the text document with the code. Delete the existing value "WIDGET-ID-HERE". Paste the value copied to the clipboard instead. 
9. Copy the customised code to the clipboard.
10. Log in to your Plentymarkets backend.
11. Click on "Shop" in the main navigation. Then click on "ShopBuilder".
    

You can move the "Review Carousel" to the desired place on your website through the use of ShopBuilder. The category pages or the footer are suitable. In the following example, we will show you the placement in the footer.

12. The ShopBuilder appears. Click on "Homepage" () in the main navigation. Afterwards, click on the gobal footer element ().
    
13. Open the drop-down menu "Text" () within the navigation. Drag the widget "Code" () to the desired position of the footer element.
    
14. Select "</>" within the widget in the article view.
    
15. An input field is displayed. Paste the code copied to the clipboard into the input field (). Now click on the tick () to save your changes.
    
16. Click on the floppy disk icon to save your progress.

You have now successfully integrated the widget "Review Carousel" into your website.

Configure multi-shops (e.g. several language shops) with different Trusted Shops IDs

You have a multi-shop and, for example, sell your products in different languages? In that case, you're also using multiple Trusted Shops IDs. This allows you to configure your different shops individually.

The prerequisite for this is that you have set up a multishop in your plentymarkets backend. You can find out more about how to set up a multi-shop in plentymarkets here: Setting up clients

1. Log in to your plentymarkets Backend.
2. Click on "Setup" () in the main navigation.
3. Another navigation bar shows up. In it, first click on "Client" () and then on "Settings" (). Then click on "Trusted Shops".
   
4. An input screen is displayed. Enter another Trusted Shops ID in the left field ().
5. Use the drop-down menus to select the shop belonging to the ID () and its language (). Then click on "Save".
   
6. In addition to the main shop (), the list now also contains the newly added shop (). Click on "Edit" and configure the newly added shop - independently from your main shop - as described above.
   

Make sure that the right client is selected for the necessary adjustments in ShopBuilder. You can select them in the upper bar under "Select client". Thereafter, you can also adjust all settings in ShopBuilder.

You have now successfully configured your multi-shop.
