Installation
- Open plentymarkets' marketplace.
- Click on the magnifying glass icon in the upper right corner to use the search function. Search for "Trusted Shops".
- Select "Trusted Shops Reviews Toolkit" from the search results.
- An overview of the plugin opens up. Click on "Go to checkout".
- A pop-up window will appear. Click on "Order now".
- Log in to your plentymarkets Backend.
- Click on "Plugins" (
) in the main navigation. Then click on "Plugin overview".
- The plugin overview appears. Use the search function to look up "Trusted Shops" (
), so that you can tick "Not installed" (
).
- The "Trusted Shops Reviews Toolkit" is shown. Click on the button with the downward pointing arrow to start the installation.
- When the installation is complete, click on the button with the globe icon next to "Trusted Shops Reviews Toolkit" to activate the plugin.
- Click on the button with the disk icon above the plugin list.
You have now successfully installed the plugin.
Configuration
Next, we will show you how you can display the Trustbadge® technology and configure it to match your individual requirements:
- Display the Trustbadge, integrate the Buyer Protection & collect Service Reviews
- Collect and view Product Reviews
- Display the Shop Review Sticker with the Review Comments
- Configure multi-shops (e.g. several language shops) with different Trusted Shops IDs
Each Trusted Shops element requires you to do the following: First, use the Trusted Shops plugin to choose the way you want the elements to look, so that they suit your shop's design. Then use ShopBuilder to define where you want the elements to be displayed on your website.
Display the Trustbadge, integrate Buyer Protection & collect Shop Reviews
With the unique Trustbadge® technology, you collect, manage and display customer reviews in your shop. This way, you can easily integrate your Trustmark and offer Buyer Protection.
To integrate your Trustbadge, there are three necessary steps:
- Configure the Trustbadge within the plugin
- Placing the Trustbadge on your website
- Place the Trustcard on your order confirmation page
Step 1: Configure the Trustbadge within the plugin
- Log in to your plentymarkets Backend.
- Click on "Setup" (
) in the main navigation.
- Another navigation bar shows up. In it, first click on "Client" (
) and then on "Settings" (
). Then click on "Trusted Shops".
- An input screen is displayed. Enter your Trusted Shops ID in the left field (
).
- Use the drop-down menus to select the shop belonging to the ID (
) and its language (
). Then click on "Save".
- The Trusted Shops ID is now displayed in a list. Click on the corresponding button "Edit".
- A new overview appears. Scroll to section "Configure the Trustbadge for your shop".
- Under "Variant" you can select whether the Trustbadge should be displayed with or without star ratings.
- Click on "Save".
The Trustbadge is now successfully configured. Continue with step 2.
Step 2: Placing the Trustbadge on your website
- Click on "CMS" in the main navigation. Then click on "ShopBuilder".
- The ShopBuilder appears. Click on "Homepage" (
) in the ShopBuilder navigation.
To display the Trustbadge on your website, you should place it on an element that is visible on all pages of your website, e.g. the footer. You haven't yet created a footer? In that case, follow the steps below. If you have already created a footer, continue directly with the integration of the Trustbadge.
- Click on "Footer contents". A new overview appears. Click on "Add content".
- A new overview appears. Enter a name (e.g. “Footer”) (
) and select a preset (
). Then click on "Create".
- Select the footer element. A new overview appears. Open the drop-down menu "Trusted Shops" (
) within the navigation. Drag the widget "Trusted Shops Badge" (
) to the desired position of the footer element.
- Click on the floppy disk icon to save your progress.
- Activate the switch of the new footer element.
- A new overview appears. Select "All contents" (
). Then click on "Activate" (
).
You have successfully placed the Trustbadge on your website. Continue with step 3.
Step 3: Place the Trustcard on your order confirmation page
To offer your customers the Buyer Protection, you must place the Trustcard on the order confirmation page. You didn't yet create an order confirmation page with the help of ShopBuilder? In that case, follow the steps below. If you already created an order confirmation page, proceed with the placement of the Trustcard right away.
- Click on "CMS" in the main navigation. Then click on "ShopBuilder".
- The ShopBuilder appears. Click on "New main category" in ShopBuilder's main navigation.
- Use the drop-down menu "Type" (
) to select option "Content". Next, you have to select the desired client (
).
- Enter a name (e.g. “Order confirmation”) (
) and a URL name (e.g. “Order confirmation”) (
) for the new main category. Then click on the floppy disk icon to save these details.
You have now successfully created an order confirmation page. Now continue with the placement of the Trustcard.
- Open your order confirmation page (
) with the ShopBuilder navigation.
- Click on "Add content" (
) within the area "Contents for Order Confirmation".
- Click on "Content".
- A new overview appears. Enter a name (e.g. “Order confirmation”) (
) and select a preset (
). Then click on "Create".
- Select the content element. Open the drop-down menu "Trusted Shops" (
) within the navigation. Drag the widget "Trusted Shops Käuferschutz" (
) to the desired position of the content element.
- Click on the floppy disk icon to save your progress.
- Activate the switch of the new content item.
You have now successfully placed the Trustcard on your order confirmation page.
Before you continue, you should test if the Trustbadge function works. To do this, place a test order in your shop. If the Trustcard appears at the end of your order, you have successfully integrated the Trustbadge into your shop, Buyer Protection is now active and Service Reviews will be collected.
Collect and view Product Reviews
- Log in to your plentymarkets Backend.
- Open the plugin via the click path "Setup"(
) -> "Client" (
) -> "Settings" (
) -> "Trusted Shops".
- Click on "Edit" next to the Trusted Shops ID you want to configure.
- Scroll to section "Configure Product Reviews for your shop". Tick "Collect Product Reviews".
- A pop-up window opens up. Click on "Close".
- Click on "Save".
This means that Product Reviews are now collected automatically. Now, you have two options to view your collected Product Reviews on your website:
- Show Product Reviews on the Product Detail page on an additional tab
- Show Product Star Ratings on the Product Detail Page
Show Product Reviews on the Product Detail page on an additional tab
You have the option to view your collected Product Reviews for a specific product in an additional tab on the respective Product Detail Page.
- Tick "Show Product Reviews on the Product Detail page on an additional tab".
- An input screen appears with which you can configure the display. In the field "Name of Product Reviews tab" (
), you need to enter a name for the additional tab (e.g. “What our customers are saying”).
- Determine the "border colour" (
), the "star colour" (
) and the "background colour" (
). To do this, either enter the hexadecimal code in the fields or select the desired colour using the colour selection field.
- Click on "Save".
You have now successfully prepared the Product Review tab in the plugin. Now continue with the placement of the tab.
- Click on "CMS" in the main navigation. Then click on "ShopBuilder".
To see the Product Reviews on the Product Detail Pages, you need to place them in the desired item view. Have you not yet created an item view using ShopBuilder? In that case, follow the steps below. If you have already created an item view, proceed directly with the integration of the Product Reviews.
- The ShopBuilder appears. Select the desired product category (
) in the ShopBuilder navigation. Then click on "Add content" (
).
- Click on "Item view".
- A new overview appears. Enter a name (e.g. “item view”) (
) and select a preset (
). Then click on "Create".
You have now successfully created a new item view. Now proceed with the integration of the Product Reviews into the item view.
- Select the item view. A new overview appears. Click on the element with the product tabs. Then, click on the gearwheel icon (
).
- The window "Tabs" (
) appears. Click on "+".
- Enter a name for the new tab in the field "Tab title" (e.g. “What our customers are saying”) (
). In the element with the product tabs, click on the new tab (
).
- Close the "Tabs" window.
- Open the drop-down menu "Trusted Shops" (
) within the navigation. Drag the widget "Trusted Shops Produkt-Bewertungen" (
) to the new tab.
- Click on the floppy disk icon to save your progress.
- Activate the switch for the item view element.
You have successfully added an additional tab to the Product Detail Page that displays your Product Reviews.
Show Product Review Stars on the Product Detail Page
You have the option to display the star ratings for a specific product on the respective Product Detail Page.
- Tick "Show Star ratings on the Product Name".
- An input screen appears with which you can configure the display. Determine the "star colour" (
). To do this, either enter the hexadecimal code in the field or select the desired colour using the colour selection field.
- Determine the "star size" (
) and the "font size" (
). Enter the desired number of pixels in the fields.
- Should the star ratings be hidden if no reviews have yet been collected for the respective product? Tick "Hide empty Star Ratings" (
) for this.
- Click on "Save".
You have now successfully prepared the Product Review Stars in the plugin. Now continue with the placement of the stars.
- Click on "CMS" in the main navigation. Then click on "ShopBuilder".
To display the Product Review Stars on the Product Detail Pages, you must place them in the desired item view. Have you not yet created an item view using ShopBuilder? In that case, follow the steps below. If you have already created an item view, proceed directly with the integration of the Product Review Stars.
- The ShopBuilder appears. Select the desired product category (
) in the ShopBuilder navigation. Then click on "Add content" (
).
- Click on "Item view".
- A new overview appears. Enter a name (e.g. “item view”) (
) and select a preset (
). Then click on "Create".
You have now successfully created a new item view. Now continue with the integration of the Product Review Stars in the item view.
- Select the item view. A new overview appears. Open the drop-down menu "Trusted Shops" within the navigation. Drag the widget "Trusted Shops Produkt-Sterne" to the desired position in the article view.
- Click on the floppy disk icon to save your progress.
- Activate the switch for the item view element.
This displays collected Product Review Stars on the Product Detail Page.
Display the Shop Review Sticker with the Review Comments
You have the option to display collected Service Reviews in the Shop Review Sticker on your website.
- Log in to your plentymarkets Backend.
- Open the plugin via the click path "Setup" (
) -> "Client" (
) -> "Settings" (
) -> "Trusted Shops".
- Click on "Edit" next to the Trusted Shops ID you want to configure.
- Scroll to section "Configure Additional Options". Tick "Show Shop Reviews within your shop".
- An input screen appears with which you can configure the display. Determine the "font" (
) used in the Shop Review Sticker. Use the drop-down menu "Number of reviews" (
) to determine how many Review Comments should be displayed alternately.
- Use the "Minimum rating" (
) drop-down menu to determine the minimum rating from which reviews can be displayed - from “1 star” for “poor” to “5 stars” for “excellent”.
- Determine the "background colour" (
). To do this, either enter the hexadecimal code in the field or select the desired colour using the colour selection field.
- Click on "Save".
You have now successfully prepared the Shop Review Sticker in the plugin. Now continue with the placement of the sticker.
- Click on "CMS" in the main navigation. Then click on "ShopBuilder".
- The ShopBuilder appears. Click on "Homepage" (
) in the main navigation. Afterwards, click on the global footer element (
).
- A new overview appears. Open the drop-down menu "Trusted Shops" (
) within the navigation. Drag the "Trusted Shops Shop-Bewertungen" widget (
) to the desired position of the footer element (
).
- Click on the floppy disk icon to save your progress.
You have now successfully integrated the Shop Review Sticker into your website.
Configure multi-shops (e.g. several language shops) with different Trusted Shops IDs
You have a multi-shop and, for example, sell your products in different languages? In that case, you're also using multiple Trusted Shops IDs. This allows you to configure your different shops individually.
The prerequisite for this is that you have set up a multishop in your plentymarkets backend. You can find out more about how to set up a multi-shop in plentymarkets here: Setting up clients
- Log in to your plentymarkets Backend.
- Click on "Setup" (
) in the main navigation.
- Another navigation bar shows up. In it, first click on "Client" (
) and then on "Settings" (
). Then click on "Trusted Shops".
- An input screen is displayed. Enter another Trusted Shops ID in the left field (
).
- Use the drop-down menus to select the shop belonging to the ID (
) and its language (
). Then click on "Save".
- In addition to the main shop (
), the list now also contains the newly added shop (
). Click on "Edit" and configure the newly added shop - independently from your main shop - as described above.
You have now successfully configured your multi-shop.
