Using Trusted Shops with IdoSell

As a IdoSell user, a free Trusted Shops plugin called "Trusted Shops Easy Integration" is available to you.

Installation

1. Open your IdoSell backend.
2. Click on "Apps" () in the main navigation. Then click on "Catalog of applications and services" ().
   
3. Enter the search term "Trusted Shops" in the search field. Click on "Trusted Shops Easy Integration".
   
4. A new overview will open. Click on "Buy a subscription".

A success message appears. You have now successfully installed the plugin.

Login

1. Click on "Apps" in the main navigation of the IdoSell backend. Then open the "Trusted Shops Easy Integration" plugin.

You must be a member of Trusted Shops in order to use the plugin. Not a member yet? Then click on the link "Not yet a customer?". After clicking, you will be redirected to our website where you will find information on membership options.

To log in to the plugin, you need individual access data – the API client credentials. The API client credentials are not identical to your access data for the eTrusted Control Centre. Below, you will learn how to create your API client credentials and log in to the plugin with them.

2. Open the plugin. The login screen appears.
3. Click on "Trusted Shops' Control Centre".
   
4. The eTrusted login page appears in a new browser tab. Enter your username (), password (), and click "Log in" ().
   
5. The overview "Copy your client credentials" appears in a pop-up window. Click on the top blue document icon to copy your Client ID to your cache.
   
6. Switch to the browser tab with the plugin login page. Insert the cached Client ID into the field "Client ID" by right-clicking and selecting "Insert".
   
7. Switch to the pop-up window with the overview "Copy your client credentials". Click on the blue document icon below to copy your Client Secret to your cache.
   
8. Switch to the browser tab with the plugin login page. Insert the cached Client Secret into the field "Client Secret" () by right-clicking and selecting "Insert". Click "Connect" ().
   

9. A pop-up window will appear. Link your sales channels registered with Trusted Shops (e.g. different language shops, domains) to the corresponding eTrusted channel using the drop-down menus (). Then click "Confirm channel mapping" ().
   

10. Use the drop-down menu "Language" to select your preferred language.
    

You have successfully logged into your plugin and linked the channels.

Configuration

Next, we will show you how you can display the Trustbadge® technology and configure it according to your individual requirements:

• Display the Trustbadge, integrate Buyer Protection & collect reviews
• Display Service and Product Reviews in your shop
• Additional settings options

Display the Trustbadge, integrate Buyer Protection & collect reviews

1. Within the plugin, open the tab "Trustbadge".
   
2. In the drop-down menu "Channel selected" (), select the sales channel for which you want to carry out the configuration.

3. Check that the switch is set to "active" (). This setting activates the Trustbadge.
   
4. You now have several options for the Trustbadge configuration:
   • Select "Standard settings" (). In this case, the Trustbadge is displayed in the bottom right corner of your shop in both the desktop and mobile views. If you would like to change this placement, you have various options:
     • Click on the drop-down menu "Position" in the "Desktop" section (). This allows you to decide whether the Trustbadge should be displayed on the right or left side in desktop view.
     • Click on the drop-down menu "Position" in the "Mobile" section (). This allows you to decide whether the Trustbadge should be displayed on the right, left or in the centre in the mobile view.
     • Enter a number of pixels in the input fields "Vertical offset (px)" (). This allows you move the Trustbadge up by the desired number of pixels in the respective display.
   • Select "Edit integration code" (). In this case, you can manually edit the Trustbadge code.

5. Click "Save changes" ().
   

Now, test the functioning of your Trustbadge. To do this, place a test order in your shop. When the Trustcard appears at the end of your order, you have successfully integrated the Trustbadge into your shop, Buyer Protection is active and reviews will be collected.

Display Service and Product Reviews in your shop

Numerous widgets are available to display your collected reviews and your overall rating in your shop. The widgets are customisable and the selection is constantly expanding.

1. Within the plugin, open the tab "Widgets" ().

2. Click on "Create a new widget" (). A pop-up window will appear.
   
3. Click on "Go to Control Centre" and log into the eTrusted Control Centre. The eTrusted Control Centre's widget library appears.
   
4. Select a widget and click on the corresponding button "Create". The widget’s configuration overview appears.
   
5. Configure the widget according to your wishes. Then click on "Create widget code".
   
6. The overview "How to integrate the widget into your website" is displayed. Click on "Complete widget creation".
   
7. Return to the plugin. Click on "Reload list". The widget you have just created is now listed.
   

8. Use the drop-down menu "Location" () to determine the pages and position in your shop on which the widget should appear.
9. Are you currently configuring a Product Review widget? If yes, also use the drop-down menu "Product id" () to determine which product label the widget should use to identify the products.
   

Would you like to see the widget before integrating it into your shop? Then move your cursor over the eye symbol () to see an example of the widget.

10. Click on "Save changes" ().

You have now successfully integrated the widget into your shop.

A wide range of information about your widgets is available within the list. To make it easier for you to work with this information, we explain the structure of the list in the following figure and table.

	Widget	Here you will find the name of the widget, as used in the eTrusted Control Centre.
	Product id	In order to collect and display product reviews, eTrusted must be able to uniquely identify the products offered in your shop. At this point, you determine which product identification should be used. This setting is therefore only relevant if you want to display product reviews in your shop.
	Status	At this point of the line-up, you will be informed of the status of your widget. There are two possibilities: Integrated: The widget has been successfully integrated into your shop. Action required: The widget is not sufficiently configured. One possible cause for this announcement may be that no placement has been determined for the widget yet. Another reason may be that a widget previously placed in the eTrusted Control Centre has been deleted.
	Content	Here you can find out which types of reviews are displayed via the respective widget.
	Location	The placement of the widget within your shop is determined here. Possibilities include product pages, the checkout page, and the header or footer, for example.

Additional settings options

Link sales channels to eTrusted

1. Within the plugin, click on "Channel mapping" ().
2. Scroll to area "Channel mapping".
3. Link your sales channels (e.g. different language shops) to the corresponding eTrusted channel using the drop-down menus ().
4. Click on "Save changes" ().
   

Unlink Trusted Shops

1. Within the plugin, click on "Channel mapping".
2. Scroll to area "Disconnect integration".
3. Click on "Disconnect".
   
4. A pop-up appears. Click on "Yes, disconnect".
